Curves of Green quilt

This is a very modern, different quilt... I started it in December and just finished the binding today.

It's a completely different quilt than others I've made, the curved pieces are actually appliqued on instead of pieced. This is where I was playing with the layout of the colors:



Here's a photo of the border fabric with the blocks ready to go:



And I had to lay out the blocks as I was sewing so they would be in order:



Here you can see the satin stitching holding the curved pieces down:


On a twin bed, ready to add borders & go to the quilter:


It has been quilted, I finished it today, put the binding on, and will add photos of it finished tomorrow. It's so different than my others, but I love how it turned out!

It's a twin size, but here shown on a queen-size mattress:
