Finishing up my Anthropologie-Inspired "Whimsical Rhapsody" quilts

There are 2 custom quilts for my wonderful Etsy customer.
These colors are based on the Anthropologie curtains shown in the last photo. The border fabric is by FreeSpirit, Tina Givens' "Treetop Fancy".
As requested, I made each quilt differently; one has a turquoise border and the other has a black print border. One is machine quilted in sections by me and handsewn together; the other is machine quilted by my new best friend, my wonderful longarm quilter.
I have truly enjoyed working on these, they stretched my creativity because black, mustard yellow, and turquoise aren't my usual pallete; but I love how they've turned out.

For Our Soldiers

I am inviting any of you who are quilters, or who know any quilters/sewers, to join me in making at least 1 star block for quilts for our soldiers.
This is the only block I've pieced so far; I have fabric but not time right now to make more. The deadline for them to get there is May 1st, so I hope to make at least several more.
Blue calico for the star is from my Grandmother; I don't know how old it is, but the texture feels like feed sack material. The white on cream background is from a sheet I bought to use as backing for another quilt.
If for any reason, the link I post up on here doesn't work, and you want to see more about it, do a Google search for "Moda Just One Star" and you will find it.
